Spoke to a gent today at a car show (Elite Performance Car Show @ Kendal) he was looking around the 944's and announced that he had a guards red S2 with 2k miles on it from new it still had most of the factory wax on it.
He said it was in a stored down south 200 miles away unsure what he was going to do with it ???

Would love to see that car.

He was fishing a bit to guage prices i said around 25k, it has been stored undercover in a garage, that said is it a dry garage ? it will need tyres and various other rubber bits, along with a major service including belts and all fluids.
I also told him to get it back on the road and drive it !!

I'd be surprised to see it go over the £20K mark: that's more the very best turbos or a decent turbo cab price. I'm still not sure that an S2 cab wouldn't be in the same league, despite the anti-cab opinions. [:)]

The question is, as always, why? What a waste, as it'll only ever be stuck as a museum piece even if someone re-commisions it. Might as well take the running gear out and sell it, and just enjoy the shell sitting in storage.....[&o]
