I’m sure that it won’t come as a surprise that the ACO and Peter Auto have today announced that the 2021 Classic Le Mans event, which was planned to run this July in its customary first weekend date, has been postponed due to the continuing Covid 19 situation.

We have been advised that the event will be moved to July 2022 with exact dates to be confirmed. We hope to have these for you in the next few weeks.
Joy & Stephen from Lycian Events are in constant dialogue with the ACO and Peter Auto who are the organisers of the Le Mans Classic and we will be providing updates as soon as they are available.

We appreciate that the postponement for the second year will be a disappointment particularly to those of us that have paid a deposit or paid a final balance, so Lycian have devised a series of options for you to consider with regards to going forwards with your booking:

Transfer your booking to the new dates (July 2022)
Transfer your paid deposit to any other event in 2021/22
If you have paid the full balance and cannot attend the new dates we would be able to move your booking and balance with guaranteed 2020 prices.
In the unlikely event you would need to cancel your booking please send Joy & Stephen an email having checked your travel insurance initially.

If you cannot see an option to suit your requirements please get in contact with Lycian directly by calling 01245 806264 or email joy@lycianevents.com. They are there to help and will be opening their bookings for 2022 immediately, although prices will not be available until the Autumn, we think next year will be a tremendously exciting event not to be missed.

If you want to join the R5 contingent in 2022, please get in touch with Lycian and they will give you an estimated quote based on this years prices.

In the meantime, I can confirm that the Davis clan certainly intend to attend the 2022 event.
