Sad Day...It's Up For Sale

Not another sad day? There will be nobody left at this rate.

The car looks lovely in the pictures Colin. If there was any justice in the world (and we weren't all scraping for a crumb to live on) you should have a queue of prospective buyers down the street and around the corner at that price.

There's no justice in the world with cars that good, that cheap. Lookings amazing, wish I had the spare cash to buy and run it.

Sills and cambelt are two major ticks as well as the fact it looks good. Just a matter of whether there is a buyer out there at that price -- I don't know what S2s are going for at the moment. At least you have most of the central belt as a potential market.
PS Might be worth listing the options in your ad.

Sold! To the first guy who saw it! Very nice chap in the police traffic div. and ex Porsche Mechanic, so reckon he will take care of it!

Still broke my heart though..........Australia better be all I hope and more[:(]

Colin,

glad its sold for you so quickly and thanks for letting me know, just a shame I couldn't get to see it earlier.

Good luck in Oz

Yes, the show plates are illegal. The guy who bought the car was a traffic cop and he confirmed this. I changed the plates before he picked the car up. He did however want to keep them.........

I ran the car for about a year with the show plates on and was never questioned. Was actually starting to think they looked a bit tacky..........it's not a German registered car after all.

Anyway, it's gone now [X(]
