Sad Day...

Well after 5 glorious years together the RS is moving on. We've had a wonderful time together and created great memories but I'm not doing the car any good by leaving it sitting in the garage and not using it.

There is no doubt that these cars are very special and represent a key milestone in the development of the modern equivalent.

I've enjoyed every minute of ownership and will always have a soft spot for a narrow bodied 911 that was originally slated for being too hard to use. In my eyes they are perfect.

Next challenge is to learn to drive the GT3RS properly [;)]

Sad day but glad it went in the end! Surprised it took so long[]

Now get out and drive the bloody GT3RS will you....

See ya soon[:)]

At last!!!![:D]

And who is the new owner?????[:)]

PS You're gonna regret it....[;)]

Ollie tried to talk you out mate ..... I guarantee you will regret it, words you don't want to hear I know ... as Jason said really surprised it hanged around so long especially being a right hooker. Once you get a 64RS in your blood you can never get it out!

I know, I know...[;)]

I think its only fair that the car has a life and gets used, and that's the problem for me. It's done a grand total of approx 100 miles since l put it away last September as the GT3's low mileage means its getting driven a bit more at the expense of the 964.

It's a bit early in non 964RS ownership to confirm I miss it but I feel a bit empty, oh well hopefully a spirited drive in the 996RS will make up for it.

Car's gone to a dealer to sell abroad by the looks of it...

They're probably parked side-by-side muttering about their ex-owners as we speak. [;)]

Did the HK buyer not make you a good offer Ollie?

I pulled it at the last minute as I was having second thoughts about keeping the GT3RS. In the mean time he has bought another car which I think he's looking to trade on to secure mine again, although this time through the dealer perhaps.

See its at sale with SCOM for the same price as most of their cars...POA

Seems SCoM are buying up everything interesting at the moment. I was talking to a guy on DDK about his yellow outlaw 356 a few weeks ago. Seems SCoM are now listing that as well.
