SAD TO GO

After a number of years as Porsche owners, we sold our Carerra GTS to Alan and Marion some time ago and have had a couple of cars since. Recently bought a F Type R which is stunning and with all the events on offer we have finally decided not to renew our Porsche membership in September. We would both like to thank, in particular Clive White and Alan Stoneham, for their friendship and help over the years, really appreciated. We would also like to thank our other friends who made our time in 997 so memorable. We may be back in the future, but for now we wish you all fun with your Porsches and hope to see you at some joint events in the future.

Hi Phil/Dee,
Thanks for your kind words, it was always a pleasure to see you at our 997 events during the time Alan and I were involved with the Register and thank you for your continued loyal support over those years. You were always enthusiastic and keen to join in and it's encouraging as organisers to have willing and reliable members like yourselves prepared to muck in and help out when needed. [;)]

The F Type R is indeed a very fine vehicle and I'm sure you will thoroughly enjoy your experience with it - I may think about one myself when I get a little older! But, in the meantime, there's absolutely no need to cancel your Club memberships since you can still enjoy the company and companionship of your friends within the Club at social and car events and, who knows, one day you may even be tempted back into the fold. :ROFLMAO:

Many members retain their membership after moving over to other marques, me during my Ferrari years, Gary with his McLaren, Mark with his Lambo etc. So we hope very much you will reconsider, retain your membership and for just a few quid a year, keep in touch with all your pals at PCGB.
Kind regards,

Clive.
