Hi All
HAs anyone taken their 911 to Salcombe. Hoping to spend a few days there but worried about parking. The hotel does have allocated parking but it looks tight and not sure i want the worry!
Thanks

Salcombe is very much a holiday town, very busy in the summer and very quiet in the winter with a number of the shops only open during the season . Lots of 2nd homes. There is quite a lot of car parking and on road parking but it will depend on when you are coming.
Salcombe is lovely and well worth spending some time in and around the town.
Hope that helps.

Lived near there for many years, there's a decent Pay & Display car park with no kerbs at if you come down Onslow Road to bottom then left and left again its there, (Shadycombe) gets full in height of summer but otherwise ok. if thats full go down to main estuary and there a 500 space car park by side of estuary. 15 minute pleasant stroll from there through old boat builders and past Salcombe Gin factory.
