Sale of my 964 C4

As per my earlier message, having just purchased another Porsche, I now find it prudent to sell my long cherished 964 C4 - if nothing else the lack of a 3-car garage precludes me from keeping it!

If anyone is interested, pls drop me a line off-forum on alexspeed964@mac.com.

Car details:

Originally the car belonged to the Porsche company as their showcase car in the UK "" I have a copy of the magazine article to prove it! At that time it had lowered suspension and a bunch of Techart additions eg bi-plane spoiler, pedal set, strut-bar and front brake air ducts with spotlights. In 1993 (and with 1993 updates) Porsche sold the car into the retail channel.

Over the past 8 years a heap of £££ have been spent on it and, apart from the inevitable stone chips (despite having an armourfend front end), it is in excellent condition (eg car was waxoyled every 2 years) and has everything in working order!

- A Motec installation. The car is certified at 305 bhp on a RR last year.
- Engine rebuild (full) two years ago with a singe mass (light) RS flywheel added.
- Suspension changed 4 years ago (approx) to an H&R set. Alignment checked this year.
- Sparco sports reclining seats added.
- RS front and rear bumpers fitted.
- Big Red front callipers fitted.

The car is in the very rare Cobalt Blue, and has done 74,741 miles.

It is also rare in having no sunroof so gives better headroom than the standard car - and yes the air conditioning does work.

The car is on original Cup style, 17" Porsche wheels.

Price, circa £20K. A Brey-Krause harness truss and Scroth harness is also for sale.
