Nice looking example. Although I see the rear underspoiler has been removed and replaced with the slotted version? Never seen that before on a turbo. I prefer the look of the car with that style valance but I heard the engineers had to add the turbo valance for stability at speed rather than fashion. Surely not advisable to remove it on a track car?

The pedant in me hates random/inappropriate capitalisations, mainly because the eye recognises the shapes of words and by capitalising them you lose that and the eye/brain has to work much harder, which actually means that I got bored and gave up.....

ORIGINAL: 944Turbo Wasn't that for sale a few months back?
The ad does say that he only bought it a few months ago and is now selling again. I was thinking the same thing about that rear slotted valence. Definitely not right, though everything else about the car looks good.

This is quite a famous car. It was sold very cheaply by a guy who didn't know its value. The mileage was quite high from memory (I will check) and it had a few niggly problems. He placed it for sale and was ultra determined that it went to an enthusiast rather than a trader. A slimy trader bought it in the end, he was from Leeds. He pretended that he had big plans to restore the car etc and a week later it was on Pistonheads with a £3k mark up. I have the original pictures of the car if anyone is interested? The OP has obviously bought this and done some modifications on the car. It looks good and is well priced. Good luck with the sale.

[:D] I think I remember this story and also the trader you're referring to!

the car was bought back in MAY 2009 by a friend of mine who is a PORSCHE GURU!!! HE SPENT the guts of 3 grand on the car and has DONE EXTENSIVE work and effort on the car HENCE ME BUYING it of him in SEPTEMBER 2009.i ONLY selling due to lack of time!!! i have had 4 944 TURBOS and 3 911 cars!!! THIS car is up there in terms of Performance/handling GOOD TRACK car ALL ROUND!!! ITS a snip at this price if you just count up that EVERYTHING has been done that needs doing with these cars. Regards james p (owner)

Clearly NOT the same person/trader I was thinking about upon readings the earlier comments. Apologies and good luck with the sale of a car - which presumably also cannot be the same car that was implied earlier.
