Sales - Question-Feedback?

Hi All

I have been looking at the Eporsch site for along with a number of others. They always seem to have a number of 964s on sale at what seem reasonable prices with good history available. Has anyone any recent/any experience of Eporsch or indeed any other sugestions as I will shortly be in the market for a 964 C4. Your assistance is much apreciated.

Cheers - Des.

Eporsch have a fairly good rep. in the 964 resale world. A lot of people use and recommend them, blokes name is Roly I think.

I used 911virgin for my 964, couldn't fault them and the cars a dream.

Good luck, don't forget the PPI.

Des,

As Rob says, Roly Baldwin at Eporsch (www.eporsch.co.uk) has a pretty good reputation - and he is right next door to GT One in Chertsey who do all of his remedial work. They will do PPI's too.

As well as Henry at 911 Virgin (www.911virgin.com), Ray Northway (www.northway.co.uk) often has a few 964s in stock although he does often sell owner's cars on commision so if you want to see one you'd best call him first.

The other good source is Auto Trader (www.autotrader.co.uk) although most of the dealers there will not be Porsche specialists so you'd be well advised to be that extra bit careful.

Happy hunting - it will be worth it in the end.

Regards

Dave

Thanks for the feedback and information. I am currently looking at a 1990 C4 with 69k on the clock with what seems a v good history. Hope to have a PPI in the next 10days.

I have to say, I really like Roly at Eporsch and have bought all my 964's/965turbo from him. I had always had 996's and came across Eporsch beginning of last year, not knowing anything about 964's. I rang him and by the time I got of the phone felt I really wanted a 964 and knew a lot more. As the guys say , also GT0ne is next to him and Craig and Pete are the best on 964's, also they are on the technical panel for the club.

The guards red C4 for £17,750 is very reasonable considering it probably would be £18,995 anywhere else. Northway is also very good and has nice cars.

Good luck , lets us know when you join the 964 ers!

Cheers

Hi Digger,

I have just purchased a 1993 build 964 from Roly at Eporsche, he is a very genuine guy and helpful; he will not sell you something you don't want.

I traded in my 996 with him.

I also test drove the Linen Grey C4 he had there, its a lovely car and it was difficult to choose between that and the C2 that I finally purchased.

Well Guys

Sadly the PPI discovered a number of issues that the owner was unaware of - proves the point of the PPI in the first place. Thanks for the advice and recomendations, looks like a visit to Rolly in the very near future. I will keep you up to speed with my progress.

Des,

I can also highly recommend Roly at Eporsch. His customer service is fantastic and he helped me out with a post-purchase issue which I doubt any other dealer would have done.

Thanks Mac

So far Roly keeps coming up trumps so I will undoubtedly give him a call.

And GT One next door can do the PPI for about £185. All very convenient - it doesn't get much better
