Stuttgart. Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, again posted a new registration record in Germany in the past financial year 2005/06 (July 31). In this period, a total of 17,207 new Porsche vehicles were registered (previous year: 16,926). The company thus increased the number of new registrations on its home market for the sixth time in succession.

In the past financial year, growth was again carried by the sports cars where there was strong demand for the new model generations. The greatest increase was posted by the Boxster series which includes the mid-engine coupé Cayman: At 4,747 units (previous year: 3,832), growth of 23.8 percent was generated here. The 911 series also posted an increase, by 8.3 percent to 7,806 vehicles (previous year: 7,204). Of the sports utility vehicle Cayenne 4,575 vehicles (previous year: 5,811) were sold.

Bernhard Maier, Managing Director at Porsche Deutschland GmbH: "We are particularly pleased about the excellent acceptance of our mid-engine sport cars Boxster und Cayman, which have spurred our business. Demand for the new models of the 911 series, such as the GT3 and the 911 Turbo has also been extremely positive." Maier expects further impulses in the new financial year as a result of the Cayman 2.7 liter engine launched in July and the 911 Targa models which are to be launched on the German market in November 2006. Porsche continued the positive trend in the first month of the new financial year. In August there were 875 new registrations (previous year: 727), a plus of 20.4 percent.

Anyone know when Porsche usually put up the full annual report on their investor site?

24% on a model range that grew by 50% in the same period (as they've included the CaymanS in with the Boxster) - bet it goes up next year, now that the regular Kman is out [8|]
