Salvage 912E?

it is a 912E I have been to look at it. The 912E is a 911S but with a 914 engine 2.0ltr fitted the smart money is to buy a cheaper 912E and fit a 6 cyliner engine as every thing you need is there ready and waiting including the wires!! just change the Tacho..

But this is not worth £10k a writen off insurance car like this must and can only be worth 30% less than market. This car I felt only had a value of £7,000 max. I offered £6k They will want VAT as well and they also have bent the truth about the damage to alot of cars in the past. Eg the amount of damage, the car is clean, but not worth £10K they seam to have caught on to classic Porsches and the first one they sold went very quickly. Now they feel they can sell damaged early cars for the same market values. Interesting to who's buying them...I will not be at that price..

Interesting... wonder how it copes with the 923 ratios.

I don't suppose you noted the chassis number for the 12E register?
