Already on the list at No11, but wont be going mad in 1st.
Agreed, my boy, our aircoolers are pretty bulletproof.
BUT when the red mist descends, and you dial up 4thou and slip the clutch, don't say I didn't warn you!
Don't think Porsche built these cars to go dragracing.Racing starts are programmed in but there is a subtle difference.
Anyway, since I can't put you off, have a stonking day.

Sailor, as you probably know the 965 quotes 4.8 seconds 0-60 as per Porsche but that's with a gentle start. Apparently some magazines did some tests in the early 90's and got 4.3 seconds with high revs launch... and that's before any mods!
But of course you're right, won't be easy on the clutch...or the tyres. Previous owner to me had the foresight to install 'sports' clutch (pressure plate) so I can thank him for that!
