sat nav and postcodes

There was lots of correspondence a while ago about the failure of the 997 sat nav system to recognise full postcodes, I think. Do the latest upgrades address this please? (I couldn't find a major hotel near Norwich recently....!)

Now thats interesting..I bought my 997 2s new in March 06. It maybe me being a bit thick, but I couldnt find how to input the post codes at all on my sat nav. I ve only used it twice, but coulnt work out how to enter posts codes. We have a Toyota with sat nav and that has post code facility..really easy peasy. Maybe mine doesnt have post code software??
Any thoughts?? Old out of date software maybe??
