Sat Nav for 993

Happy New Year 993 lovers!
I'm trying to work out the least intrusive/best fitting location and method for a standalone Sat Nav unit in a 993 cockpit. I'm not spending silly bucks on the Classic unit (reasons are well explained elsewhere!) when a superior Garmin or TomTom is available with some good discounts at the moment. The trouble is I think the right lower or middle of windscreen is too much of the screen obscured. I realise it would have to be removed for the MOT from those locations but that's not a problem. As I'm planning on this plus a dash cam to both be hard wired installed once the Spring weather arrives, obviously once I decide on a location it is not easily changed.
Any thoughts & experiences from members would be much appreciated. Thanks, Ben

I use a kenu mount which attaches to the central air vent. More or less line of sight without being in the windscreen. I also had a suction mount on the clock for a while.

Thanks gentlemen. I think low centre of screen is best compromise. Appreciated the input.
Regards,
Ben
