Sat Nav volume

Hi all.

As you know, just bought my 997 C4S a week or so ago. Been really busy at work and moving house, so still haven;t had a quiet moment to sit down and go through the manuals!

As a result - can someone tell me how to increase the volume of the sat nav lady?! when i switch it on, the radio or cd is always playing in the background, so i can't hear the directions to clearly!

Thanks, Dev.

Try turning up the volume when she is speaking and also if you miss her instructions press the repeat button and she'll repeat herself (probably like the Mrs!)

Enjoy!

Thanks, I will try that. Although I presumed that turning up the volume also turns up the volume of the music playing....

And, er, do you know my missus then!! Good thing is, the sat nav has more patience!

'fraid I can't remember exactly how to do it, but it's certainly possible - I've set it up so that the music is muted when she's giving out her instructions.....

I think you need to be at the 'NAVI' screen and then press the set button ....???

As mentioned elsewhere it may be one where you have to resort to reading the manual !!
