Would a unit such as this [link=http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2009-Porsche-Cayman-S-Sat-Nav-Unit-Phone-Reverse-Camera-Maps-CD-Player-Radio-/281912851213?hash=item41a350bb0d:g:a5QAAOSwL7VWnQ0a]http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2009-Porsche-Cayman-S-Sat-Nav-Unit-Phone-Reverse-Camera-Maps-CD-Player-Radio-/281912851213?hash=item41a350bb0d:g:a5QAAOSwL7VWnQ0a[/link]

fitted in place of my current screen unit (no sat nav) work.

Thanks

You'll need to ensure it can be coded to your car first. Maybe talk to Cartronics before you buy.

Thanks for that.

Ive bitten the bullet and gone down the Completely new route with a pioneer unit, including integrated blutooth and dab radio, will see if its a wise move......

deciding factor was a brand new unit was £749 and has modern options.

that's sensible though you then don't have any way to set memory for a/c temp, wipers, lights and auto locking. Also it then leaves the in dash lcd redundant unless you can connect your head unit to it via a CAN bus interface, which is around £40 and well worth it.
