thanks

Paul

My only thought is that it may have been a "copy" disc and may have damaged tour PCM....

I'm no expert though.....

You probably need software upgrades for the PCM and or DVD unit. I had same problem when I updated my Nav maps.
PM Mike Wooster (Berty987 on this forum) he resolved mine.

Fixed. A very nice chap i spoke to on pistonheads gave me the latest software and after a bit of messing around I have a 2010 disc in and working for ÂŁ40. Result.

Glad to hear it's all up and running....Result...

As an aside, if you could let me know of how I can get the 2010 Sat-Nav software/disc for my Cayenne, I would be most grateful...

No probs, here you go. You may need to update your dvd software though??

No probs. Will need to wait 2 weeks though I just came back offshore. Will sort you out once i get home again.

Cheers Paul, I've ordered the disc today from the link above, so will see how it comes..

back home today. The file is big around 13meg. I can send it in 4 parts but 1 part is still 10meg, prob too big for email. Not sure how to get round this unless you PM me your address I will stick it on a disc and post it??

I've got the new disc and it seems to have updated some software on the PCM, it's working fine so far, so maybe mine was installed with the latest?

I'll PM you a postal address if you can send it on a cd [:)]

Many thanks garyw

Tried the link today and it isn't working....?

Also tried searching via Google etc. and the site no longer exists...?

Need to try & find another supplier of this disc....[]

I sent him an email. it did not ping back so that would suggest his email is still in use. If he does not reply or has gone out the door I guess there is no harm in giving you a copy of my disc[:D]

Prob no harm anyway as his disc wont be 100% legit:ROFLMAO:

Garyw, disc will be posted this afternoon[;)]

I am not the sharpest tool in the box when it comes to websites but maybe I can host the PMC 2.1 files on my site. Will see what I can do.

Hopefully off karting this afternoon, will look at it tonight.

Thanks for the link Paul....

Am I correct in assuming that it's a 2010 Sat-Nav disc that he is selling, and I assume all other functions on PCM work ok, ie. trip computer, audio etc. with this disc in place...?

Thanks again...

Paul
