Save Money On Fuel

Ladies & Gentlemen,

I'm a PCGB Member who would like to share with other members, a really great website, which has saved me a considerable sum of money on fuel. You can register free of charge, enter a postcode, to be advised of the cheapest forecourts for fuel.

Hi Alan,
Thanks for this useful advice. Flipping through my son's recent Top Gear Mag. I read a small item relating to octane ratings and bhp yield from fresh fuel. The results purported to be from rolling road tests and revealed a significant bhp advantage using BP Ultimate. The yield from Shell Optimax and Tesco 99 octane were somewhat less. The differences re. torque seemed less marked from memory. The proviso was that these fuels degrade quicker than standard fuels so a station with a high fuel turnover was essential to be sure of reaping and BP advantage. I wonder if this has been corroborated elsewhere.
