just been to the local tescos to fill up. went to pay at the counter and the guy who was serving me says, looking at the car, 'so glad porsche have gone back to the round headlamps, looks gorgeous' well, ive known this man for several years, and he knows a bit about cars, and he genuinely believed my C2S was a new 997 (private plate fitted) [:D][:D][:D]

pre
dicament!!!! what to i do, let him believe ive won the lottery, put the partner on the 'game', managed to sell my live 8 tickets on e-bay, and splashed out on a 997, or tell him the car is an 8 year old C2S, abeit, looking particularly splendid on that forecourt [8|][8|][8|]mmmmmm

yeah, yeah, yeah, you know i told the truth, couldnt deny my 993. he couldnt believe it, and left his mate to it, while he came to look at the car. eventually he was convinced, but was amazed, from the laymans point of view, how similar the 993 and 997 are.

he confirmed what ive known all along.... retro rules
