SC Wanted

2.4te

New member
I'm looking for a good condition late model (204bhp) SC (or 3.2Carrera) if anyone knows of one could they please reply to this thread. I'm based in Scotland, which doesn't have to be an issue for the right car. Many thanks.

I am considering selling my 1983 sc and buying a Carrera cabriolet. I do not want to be wothout a 911 for too long. My sc is black with ew, esr, em, fpsh and in excellent original condition . Interested?

Yes I'm interested. I'm looking at two tomorrow. Please send more details to d.blackbourn@vir.gla.ac.uk, including details of receipts (history) for major work done, extent of corrosion, price, photos and your location. I'm a PCGB member despite what my signature says!

My sc has done 109k and has 4 previous owners. I bought from a friend who was the owner for the last 10 years and sold it because he was'nt using it enough. For me it is a third car - dry use only. This year i intend spending some money on it and i have just had a front end respray completed. This was to remedy very minor stone chip damage and light scratches probably a bit OTT in reality. But it looks great.
Mechanically it has been well cared for and has had the hyd. tensioners done a long time ago - very important. THe next project is to change the oil tank which is leaking slightly and re-trimming the drivers seat - i have already bought the material. This is my first 911(and the last!) and it is still a head turner - amazing for a 20 / 40 year old car. There is nothing out there like it for me. I will send photos.

Post some pics Malcolm. You're right they amazing cars and relatively old now too. Saturday we took the front bumper of my mod' SC to fit a tow hook and to get some powder coating done. We had the car up on jacks and it's the first time I have had chance to inspect the front wing mounted oil cooler and it still looked in fantastic condition. Indeed apart from a little surface rust here and there the whole front tub was in brilliant shape for it's age and proof that the galvanizing can work really well.

Malcolm,
I'm interested in your car. Please send me a personal mail to d.blackbourn@vir.gla.ac.uk
Where are you located? How much are you looking for?
I already have a 1972 911 (for the last 6 years) that I'm keeping, but want a more modern one to use more often.
Thanks very much

Thanx for the interest, but I am unsure hoe to post photos in this forum. I will need your e.mail address.
