Scarey day - will she live

A183 is in for open heart surgery today and over the weekend. I've decided to get the headset replaced, and the engineering shop should be checking and skimming the head either today or tomorrow to check for cracks or warping.

I did manage to sell her, but the purchaser dropped out, so I am now getting the headset and waterpump done (the only problems I know of) then will get her fully tested and put her up for sale again. I will feel much happier selling something I know to be as good as can be, rather than selling with a big grey cloud over her head.

Will let you all know how it goes, but have been told that if the head is cracked or warped, then I could be looking at a bill which would threaten her very existence and she will only be good for parts. Fingers crossed huh.
