School Fair Car display - 17th Sept

This was postponed in June this year (with not much notice), but it is now happening on Saturday 17th Sept, a week after Arley Hall.

I am organising a car display at my local primary school and would like to invite any members to come along. It is a school fair, so there will be stalls such as tombola, a BBQ, a bar (well there was last year) and entertainment. If all else fails it is a good place for a picnic.

The school is Sound & District Primary School, Sound, Nantwich. On the A530 Nantwich to Whitchurch road at the junction with Wrenbury Heath Road (Google CW5 8BB).

Primarily a car display, there will be a competition for the most liked car, as voted by the children.....you may also find you are asked about your vehicle by interested viewers.
The display will be on the school field (flat and firm), and space will be limited, so please let me know if you are interested and I will save a space: - ashuker@hotmail.com.

If you could let me know any interesting feature, we plan to set a quiz for the Children based on information on the vehicle be it year of registra tion, number of wheels, colour or engine capacity. If this information can be displayed on the vehicle on the day all the better.

By attending the event you agree to hold harmless Sound & District Primary School, the P.T.A. and any volunteers for any damages to you or your possessions which may occur at this car show.

This will be a none moving event, and we ask that vehicles are in place by 11:45 on 17th September 2011, and that they remain in place until 16:00 the same day. It will be possible to start engines but only when the engine cover is in place, or alternative protection is afforded against access to moving parts of the engine.
