I have recently sold my Porsche 944 [:(].

I had bought a replacement driver door just before I sold the car and am looking for a way to sell it on.

Before I put it on ebay, where it will be very expensive to post, I thought I would enquire here as to whether there were any bodyshops/parts stores in or around Edinburgh that people know of, that may appreciate a very cheap door delivered to them?

Somebody drove into my wing mirror and ripped the door skin the week I was selling the car. I threw in a spare solid door to the sale as a quick fix for the buyer but when they turned up they told me they were not bothered about the dent and wouldn't need the replacement door. I now have a spare Porsche 944 door still in its packaging sitting in the garage taking up space. If I put it on ebay it will likely cost me as much to send it to soembody as people would be prepared to pay for it so if there is a bodyshop or Porsche parts centre in Edinburgh I could deliver it/sell it to them rather than taking a good door to the scrapper. I'll take the door from you. Whereabouts in Edinburgh are you? PM me your details and I'll swing by and pick it up.

Alasdair, tried to PM you. Give me a shout if you want to take the door of my hands, £25 sounds fair, if anyone else is interested drop me a PM or post, thanks, JC
