Following on from my previous topic, I feel that all the Scots members should post a list of their favorite routes.......

Every Porsche driver has to try the B743 road from Strathaven to Muirkirk in Ayrshire, you will NOT be dissapointed!!!

http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?X=275000.521318865&Y=650000.2299384&width=500&height=300&client=public&gride=&gridn=&srec=0&coordsys=gb&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=&advanced=&local=&scale=500000&down.x=6&down.y=17

Just do it, then turn back and go the other way........................

Also, just drove the Forfar ring the other day...........

Forfar - Couper Angus - Blairgowrie - Aylth - Kirriemuir - Forfar

Not a bad one at 6am with not a soul in site.............
Still made it to the office by 8.30am up North!!!!!!!

I think we should start the rumour that there are no good roads in Scotland. Let them go and clog up north Wales and Yorkshire instead [:)]

I mean, you wouldn't want to encourage anyone to go to Lairg, and drive up Loch Shin on the A838 to Laxford Bridge, then south through Scourie on the A 894 (very possibly the worst driving road in the UK) and back to Ullapool on the A 835 for a fish supper.

No ... you definitely wouldn't want to encourage that! []
