Hi folks,
Ive been off the forum for a few months due to someone trying their best to write my car off - they failed and its now back sporting two new sides, doors, wings, mirrors and all though!
The reason for my post is that I am one of the main organisers behind the annual car show at Ingliston in July - The Scottish Car Show.
Now in its 9th consecutive year the event draws motoring enthusiasts from across Scotland and what used to be a predominantly hot hatch/modified/Fast & Furious style event at the beginning has matured along with the car club scene in Scotland to attract clubs from classics and retro to modern and import. With Mustang Owners, MLR and Skyline Owners as just some of the more grown up clubs attending.
I've only had my Porsche for just over a year and attended my first outing in Feb (before the accident) so thought I'd mention the car show to see if the club would be interested in either attending as a group or to enter individual cars for the indoor Top 50 display area.
The website with info on the event is : www.scottishcarshow.com and will be updated as new attractions are added.
Its a family fun day event sponsored in part by the governments Road Safety Scotland division plus Verve motor group and The Sun newspaper with a ton of stuff to keeps kids entertained too (face painting, petting zoo, magic shows, fairground and funfair rides etc).
Just throwing the idea out there
Thanks,
Rikki
