Hi Everyone,

reminder that anyone wishing to take advantage of the free members BBQ at the Scottish Concours on Sunday 18th September needs to have supplied me with an entry form or at least the £5 entry fee by a week today. i.e Monday 12th September.

Everyone is of course welcome to attend on the day and pay the £5 entry at the gate but they wont be able to enjoy the BBQ.

Additional BBQ spaces are £6.50

I will be at the Glasgow club meeting tomorrow night but only from about 9pm if anyone is coming along.

We now have ov40 cars pre-registered and 72 people booked for the BBQ. Also starting to get a good few guest classic cars for display also.

Swiss Wax have confirmed they will demo two cars during the day, 11am and 2pm - so looking for volunteers for this - ideally someone that is not entering the concours display and has some paint that may have seen better days ! surely that doesnt apply to anyone on here [;)]

regards
Scott

Hi Everyone,

this is the final entry list of pre-registered members.

for everyone who hasnt pre-registered you can simply pay a fiver on the day

free BBQ for members closes today for everyone that paid their £5 up front, there will be a very small number of BBQ spaces available on the day at £6.50/head, tickets can be bought from registration tent on a first come basis.

I can confirm that we will have Swiss Wax along for two demonstrations, we have at least two new porsches coming from porsche edinburgh and possibly a couple more on the day. our member Hugh Wakker is bringing along his pack of huskies and we have some guest display cars from Morgan. I have invitied some of the pistonhead people along on the day as we can accomodate a good number of cars and its always nice to see some exotica. Our chairman Alan Welshman and John Chapman are attending with some merchandise from the Club Shop which will be on sale on the day.

There will be an excellent raffle on the day with main dealer oil services / wheel alignmnets as prizes,

The venue opens at 9am and we have been requested to have all cars on site by 10am please. Venue closes at 4pm.

As per the list - we expect a very good turn out on the day - but I know there are more of you still lurking about there who havent pre-registered. So come on, its bound to be the largest show of Porsches in Scotland this year anyway.

As for our friends in Region 2 - Come on chaps ! Hopetoun House is an excellent venue and only 5 mins off the M90 so east to get to, and you dont want Region 1 winning all the prizes.

First things first! It's not at Norton House but Hopetoun House - here are the directions.

Travel by car:

Follow the signs for the Forth Road Bridge and then follow the brown signs for Hopetoun House through South Queensferry. Approximate travel times are: Edinburgh City Centre 30 minutes, Stirling, 35 minutes, Perth 35 minutes and Glasgow 50 minutes. Parking is free. Don't use Sat Nav as this brings you to a locked gate at the west of the Estate

Secondly, exotica............ sounds like Scotties been looking at naughty web sites again!!!

See you all Sunday, even if it's raining!!

Was thinking of popping along to spectate, although can only make it about 9am. Are there likely to be many cars to have a gander at around this time?

Great day out, thanks for organising it [:D]

Lovely to see everyone again ~ and glad I spent about a week cleaning Taffy, even though he was not judged hahahaha!! [:)]

See you all soon [;)]

Agree, great event, well done Scott and Kim and everyone else involved.

As soon as there's a prize for "best car with a baby seat"!

This particular prize could be sponsored by Edinburgh OPC.....

It definitely couldn't be sponsored by Glasgow OPC anyway!

Great show well done to Scott . Jill. Kim .for all there hard work in organizing it and to all the unsung heroes working behind the scenes erecting and taking down gazebos ,and manning the check in , and judging the cars .
