Scratch repairs

Some bastard scratched my car and the OPC has quoted me £800+VAT for repair. Anyone think doing it there is worth it or would a local body repair place do the job?

Cheers

No it's a big scratch - right across the drivers door and across the front wing as well. Like I said, bastards!

Yeah that's what I try and comfort myself with - bloody annoying though. I do want to get it fixed asap because I'm upset every time I see it at the moment.

I'd get it done by a dealer. You may invalidate your anti corrosion warranty if using someone else!!

That's an interesting point Andy, So if they apply that rational to a scratch would they also apply it to stone chip repairs not carried out by an OPC?
My Met Black C4 is starting to annoy on the front PU and wings with little white chips (as did my boxster) and I am thinking about a repair session very soon.

Do you think that would invalidate the anti-corrosion warranty too?

Chips Away are a franchise operation and capable (with their magi clear technology) of repairing large scratches - however the service is only as good as the operator !!
