Scratch

Hi

Some numpty has keyed my car over the weekend resulting in a scratch of approx 40cm long on the rear passenger panel.

Can anyone recommend any companies near Brighton that would be able to look at removing the scratch for me, together with any approx costs?

Thanks in advance

All depends on the depth of the scratch, if its down to bare metal or significant you will need the whole panel painting as a blow in is unlikely to paint match.
Yours is a 2003 so there will be some colour difference between new paint and paint 9 years old, however if they paint the whole panel they blend in the adjacent panels with a product called blending clear - a machine polish and you wont know it was ever damaged.

Cost is usually about £250 to £300 plus VAT per panel plus a small anount for the preparation to the adjacent panel for the blending process so expect a bill of around £400.

Sorry, not my area so i cant advise on who you should contact.
