Hi I am sure I am not the only owner to suffer .No matter how careful I have been once again I have a small number of scratches and scuffs on the back of the hard back seats in my carrera 4 cab. I had them resprayed a few years back and they looked good for a couple of years. Has anyone found any other solution to keep seat backs in mint condition.? Any thoughts appreciated.

Hi Paul

Thanks for reply. I have already considered this option as had front of car covered years ago and it really works. It just means the seats will need respray first so probably going to be a reasonably expensive solution, I was just hoping someone may have found a cheaper answer.

Best regards

Richards right, vehicle graphics wrap company will be able to apply self adhesive vinyl, which would be scratch resistant and you could have it any any colour I work in the portable display business and have seen some pretty amazing wraps and often scratch proof.

Cheers Phil

Here is a centre console done in a carbon fibre effect vinyl wrap, using this 3M product: http://www.carbonmods.co.uk/Departments/dinoc-3m-carbon-fibre-vinyl.aspx

Apparently, it is easy to apply, and this was done by a DIYer, not professionally.

Thanks Guys. I spoke with the guy the sign wrote my van and today he fitted a carbon look vinyl to the seat backs and it looks good and has covered all the marks.

I have just returned from having my seat backs vinyl wrapped by 'Your Sign Company' based in Huntingdon Cambs. The colour is a good match to the Guards Red paintwork and centre console. Here is the before pic. I will post another message with the after pic.

That look pretty sweet! Nt a fan of wrapped cars, externally, but on the interior I can see the benefits so will give it some thought for the centre column I have a couple of scratches on. I've found that giving interior paintd parts the same attention as exteri paint, i.e. a good, regular quality was, helps keep them in better nick.
