Scratches and wipers

After spending a few hours t-cutting the rear of my car where some nice chap had keyed it while parked in the shopping centre car park aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!, I decided to have a look again at my non-functioning rear wiper.

Now I am sure I have asked before, but don't wish to give up just yet, is there a fix for a very stiff wiper shaft? oooh err missus. I have the Targa, so the wiper shaft comes through the glass, and engages in the motor.

I would use an aerosol spray GS85 with teflon repeatedly as the previous application dries until the shaft frees up-then use a similar spray but containing graphite to leave some lubricant in the interface.

remove the wiper arm bolt and remove the arm.

then spray wd40 around the shaft while running the wpper several times. repeat several times. protect the paintwork from the lubricant.
get some ZX1 friction reducing oil and apply a few drops.
