just filled screen wash due to low level warning on in car, it is now leaking out of the drivers side headlight washer under the bumper( the headlight washer unit is still working)i think the cold weather we had 2-3 months ago has split pipe or unit ,have to take bumper off to have a look , i only use porsche screen wash, does this contain antifreeze or not? car has been kept garaged over winter

Porsche screen wash does not include anything to lower freezing point, and they don't make one that does. And as you are not supposed to mix different screenwashes (I have heard tales of a gelatinous gunk forming), you just have to suffer everything except the heated nozzles freezing up in cold weather. Bonkers. I did ask the OPC how freezing could be prevented and got a shrug. Not very helpful. I contemplated buying some neat alcohol to add but never got to the bottom of which one before the weather turned mild!

Had same problem, twice! Both sides 12 months apart , £130.00 at IOC to replace unit , freezingtemps kills them , not found a solution , sad great car otherwise !

took bumper off to have a look today pipe to unit is ok looks like unit is leaking from top of unit body will have to order new unit next week from opc, before next winter i will drain porsche screen wash out, flush with water and refill with screen wash with antifreeze in, hopefully it will stop this happening again next winter (says a lot about porsches cold weather testing? as i am a dyno test bed electrian for a big american car company)

Easy to swap out on the 987/997; The cap (silver nozzle) can be kept from your broken nozzle as these are prone to loss. I believe the new nozzle comes complete with one of these.

The part number of the nozzle unit is 997 628 133 01 priced at around 40 pounds (less your PCGB discount) plus VAT.
