Seals!

Hi All
Does anyone know if the gearbox output shaft seal is the same as the rear hub bearing seal?
I've looked in my manuals but can't quite tell.

I changed both the output shaft seals and one still leaks GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! have to do it again!!!

Oli, do you have to stick the ends together?

No, but you do need to make sure they are properly seated before tightening their nuts up.

If you get any part of the seal pinched in the surround then you'll damage the seal and it won't work properly.
