Seat memory issues..!

... and absolutely love it, however, how do I store my seat settings on the key button down the side of the seat? It keeps changing to the previous owners settings when I unlock the car using the remote?!

Haven't got round to looking at the manual yet!

I believe ........ Hold down the M key whilst pressing the number 1 memory button on the seat if it's like mine.

If that doesn't work then try M then each of the other numbered buttons as the key may be paired with a different number. Not sure about the pairing bit but the fir M + number works on mine.

Yup your right and ad I thought.. Programmed M1 but can't get the key button programmed - is really annoying as everytime I unlock the car the seat is in the wrong position. I'm convinced I'm doing it the right way it just isn't programming correctly...

Hi James,

Had same prob with mine & sorted it via online search before signing up to forum....

To clear the memory from the ignition key(s), switch on ignition with desired key then hold down the 'key' symbol button & 2 simultaneously for 5 seconds

To set memory in appropriate ignition keys, switch on ignition with desired key, adjust seat & mirrors, (if you want n/s mirror to tilt down while reversing) put into reverse gear, then hold down 'M' while pressing 'key' button.

Hope this works for you too!

To be honest I didn't really find the mirror tilting helped much.

Good Luck,

Paul

All sorted and working now... Not sure what I did differently buy was playing with the mem buttons whilst on the motorway earlier and it has now stored my settings on the key button... Not very scientific but hey-ho.
