Seat retrim

How much would I be looking at to get the 2 front seats retrimmed on a 944 Turbo? Linen Leather or close colour match. I've been reccommended southboundtrimmers, but they're not answering the phone.

Cheers,

Paul

I vote for Liquid Leather also.

If it is too far gone then you could go for just some panels plus re Connolising like was done to this 964 for not too much money: http://www.porsche964.co.uk/ and follow Technical, Body & Interior, Seat Repair.

Cheers, I'll give liquid leather a go before I commit to a retrim. Having said that, I've got the feeling that the drivers seat is too far gone, and will need at least some new panels.

I'll keep trying southbound in the mean time for a quote.

Last time I spoke to Southbound they could do a whole cover for DIY fit in leather for something like £300, plus £80 extra for perforations. All plus VAT and per seat.

My cab had a hole in the backrest bolster which I fixed with the Frost repair kit and Liquid Leather. I finally swapped the backrests between the seats so the unworn passenger inner bolster was taking most wear and the repaired driver's outer one was getting none. They would have been perfect to look at with re-Connolising, but they were pretty good as it was.

a local company called macleod upholstery, the price was very good as it is genuine leather and alcantera

Looks great Gavin! Do you mind sharing what they charged? Either on thread or by pm if you prefer.

Cheers
Craig
