seatbelt rattle/rumble?

I've got an annoying rattle that i've traced to the drivers side belts cartridge/drum in the rear panel. Theres a wire connected to it which i assume is for firing the pretensioners, does anybody know if theres any specific instructions for following before removing it or is it just a case of disconecting the battery first? Has anybody else had this or a similair problem? thanks sc
 
There is a fuse in the pretensioner firing unit which you can twist to disable it. If you would like the instructions, drop me an email and I'll attach them to a reply.
