Seatbelt swap

Hi,
My '71 2.4 Targa came from France & was fitted with static seat belts.....upon investigation I found that there were inertia reel recesses behind the rear side trim boards & the trim board even had the position of the required hole marked on the rear!
Quick Fit Seat Belt Services at Wembley advertise in 911 Porsche World & occassionally in PP, they supplied & fitted a pair of inertia reel belts to the front seats & even colour coded the webbing to the car for no extra charge. They can also supply inertia reels for the back seats; can'd remember how much but I do remember it was a reasonable price. Don't forget that a plastic trim is required to go around the oblong hole that you cut in the trim board to protect the webbing from chafing...don't think that they had this part so try Porsche main agent or if not available I know that Dave at Southbound Trimmers has them. Tel 020 8206 0101 for Quick Fit & 01264 810080 for Southbound.
