seats (again!)

happy new year to all!

am considering some new seats for the 986S... ideally wanted the recaro sportster-cs (similar to the audi rs4 seat) but its too wide to fit in the car...

leaves me which a choice of the recaro pole positions or the OE GT3 seats... now i thought the pole positions would be cheaper, but by the time you upholster them in matching leather (blue) and buy the mounts/brackets, they cost almost the same as the GT3 seats... (around GBP1k each)...

Anyone know of a place that can supply the GT3 seats at a good price ? Need them in metropole blue ideally...

don't mind second hand if the seats are in good condition...

You could see what Porsch-apart have (search web for site). Aftermarket seats have a problem with the availability of fitting frame/runners. I was advised to get std Porsche items modified if going down that route.

belated thanks for the reply. you're absolutely right - the GT3s are the only straight-forward fit. Recaro pole positions are possible but require additional hardware/brackets to mount in the factory slide positions. decided to stick with the originals!
