Took my Hard top of today

Softtop would not work

Any ideas please

Have had a flat battery recently but not sure if it was before I Fitted hard top

TURNS OUT I HAD TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY AND IT ALL WORKED

Had phoned 3 'Specialists' who all suggested expensive fixes

ALWAYS START AT THE FUSE BOX!!!! (it the cheapest!!

Stopped closing properly. Spoke to my Indy in Towyn in Mid Wales. Needed to top up the Hydraulic Oil 25.00 for 250 ml

Works OK now

Have checked the hand brake that Registers OK Have played with the Microswitch in windscreen Head Boot opened light does not come on so that should be OK Any Ideas please

How do I get into the unit at the top of the windscreen to check the Microswithes) Please Can find a Diagram on Porsche Service

If the microswitch is stuck, the roof won't open. You might be able to poke your finger into the opening to see if it clicks. If your iCarsoft scanner shows live data from the cabriolet control module, you should be able to see if the switch is working or not. The switch is item 5 on the attachment.

Will look at this when I get the rook off. Ned to have a good day when I can get help. Is there anything else that it could be There sis no clicking or even the sound of a microswitch I don't think the windows go down automatically either I do have the Smart Top switch fitted thanks

Try talking to Tony Wright at Wrightune in Wallingford, Oxon (tel 01491-826911). He knows all there is to know about SmartTop modules (and 911s).
