Hi everyone,

The visit to the wolf sanctuary on March 20th was a great success. You will recall that we were oversubscribed for that first visit and had to draw names from a hat.

For those who were unlucky in that draw, we have now arranged a second visit on Saturday 23rd April.

The new list for the 23rd April is:

Phil and Wendy Sloper (confirmed)
Richard and Emma Wyatt (confirmed)
Trevor and Julie (confirmed)
Chris and Jacquie K. plus Mrs Kavanagh (confirmed )
Steve and Sarah Swaine (confirmed)
Jan and Nick Gibb (confirmed)
Michael and Karen (confirmed)

From the original list, not yet confirmed:

David B
Graham Beckett-Stevens

We have a maximum of 16 places available, so that means we can accommodate another 1 person, so if anyone would like to go who hasn't been already, please let Pat, or respond to this forum post by adding to the thread below.

Pat's email address is: hensonpatrick30@yahoo.com

The cost is a £10 per head donation towards the sanctuary.

As before, we meet Pat in the Livestock Auction car park in Bishops Castle at 10.00 am for a 10.15 departure. After the visit to the sanctuary there is the option of lunch at the Three Tuns in Bishops Castle, please see the post below for the menu and prices; menu choices are needed no later than Sunday 17th April.

Attached is the menu for lunch at the There Tuns in Bishops Castle. Don't worry that it says Sunday Lunch, it is applicable to our visit on the Saturday.
The cost is £17 each for 2 courses, or £22 each for 3 courses.
If you are coming on this second visit, please let Pat Henson know your menu choices by Sunday 17th April.

In lovely weather 18 members, including some friends, were treated to an enthralling tour of the 90 acre sanctuary and all of us had the opportunity to feed two of the more tame wolves!
Tony was a most hospitable host and we learned all about the wolves and also the varied wildlife that lives in his beautiful valley.
We must thank Tony for allowing us to visit the sanctuary for a second time, which is not open to the general public.
