Seeking a 1986 Sunroof mechanism part

Hello
I am seeking an 1986 sunroof mechanism part.
I don't know the part number but it will be the same as shown in the attached pictures.

Well you show an early type sunroof drive-by the end of '86 it changed to a quadrant shaped style.-I presume you have looked at Clarke's Garage which gives a good write up about these mechanisms.
Try any of the specialist Porsche S/H parts dealers such as 9-Apart ,Jasmine or Only 9 & there is Douglas Valley .
 
As Colin says: series one and 924 type mechanisms are different to the series two type. An '86', be it a 1986 built or model year car will definitely have the later type. If the car has a 924-derived dashboard then it will be the earlier type.
 
I'd recommend the spares suppliers listed in the 944 faqs first, only go to others if all else fails!

Elliot Newman at Porkaparts, Justin Webb (facebook only but a great guy to deal with) or Paul at Woolies Workshop should all be able to help at reasonable prices.
