I'm guessing this is a 924S? (being a 1986 model). Sounds like a good price if it's as described.

Hi I have just been searching the site for the first time. I've been doing up this 1980 Le Mans Limited edition for almost a year, not the paint work but the mechanics etc. I now have it running like a bullet with 12 months MOT etc. Truth is I'm not really a Porsche enthusiast. I just bought a rediculous challenge that lasted almost a year. Apparently, its a limited edition of only 100 made, of which mine is the 16th on the road, the rest may have hit walls etc. I wondered if your friend would be interested in this. I have replaced the engine block with a brilliant condition low wear one. Brand new tyres etc, but I have left the looks, original which is plain. I only want £2000 for this and I know every nut and bolt on the thing, anyway, thought I'd let you know. You can contact me 07961152730. I'm in Suffolk.

Thanks, John De Moore
