Good afternoon,

My name is John and I reside in West Lothian. Despite having a 'normal' job, I like to dabble in photography and hope to focus more in the automotive side of things in the future.

One of your members, Donald, agreed to let me shoot his 996 turbo yesterday in the Scottish Borders and is happy for me to post the results.

I hope this is appropriate. I have copied this over from the Scotland section as thought it would interest this particular forum.

Kind regards

John [:)]

It's odd. I find the 996 turbo one of the most beautiful shaped cars to look at from any angle in the flesh but I think its the hardest car I've ever had to get a good photo of! Seems to always look somehow out of proportion when I photograph it!

I think one of my favourite angles of the car is the one the photographer took to sell it. Pity the rest of the add is so terrible but that's up to the man selling it I suppose:

Beautiful photo's though. Is that 'the' mountain road (with the road that goes to nowhere) that gets talked about a lot on piston heads? Looks very familiar but I suppose a lot of the roads in the hills do.

Regards,

Ben
