Selling advice

I am looking for advice , driven by experiences, regarding the best method for selling my 997. I have owned my 997.1 C2 Tiptronic S for five years and used it very regularly. I am planning to sell next spring/ summer and looking to purchase another porsche product. In the past I have sold other porsches through owner clubs , my 924 went within a couple of days. I just feel its time to part and try another model , but enjoy for another 12 months or so . I was planning on moving on around May next year , it seems a good time to sell a convertible. Thanks in advance for your advice and sharing your experiences.

The world could be a very different place next spring so hard to advise now...

Do you orefer to px or sell and buy for cash?

I’ve almost always sold my Porsche’s through Pistonheads. For the higher value cars, say £40k+ (where people usually need finance) you’d likely need to sell to a dealer.

I’d try Autotrader, Pistonheads and PCGB. Call around the dealers to see what the bottom line is (911 Virgin, Portiacraft etc)

I have sold to an independent dealer using a prominent on-line company ... an excellent experience all round, if required I can provide feedback privately

Redline nr Harrogate have given me very good price for two of my ex Porsche
good people
