when selling my boxster [:(] a few months ago to make sure I could transport our new baby [:D] about, I phoned a specialist who advertised similar claims on their web site.

This actually equated to bottom book trade in price and about £3.5k less than a similar aged but significantly lower spec'd one (albeit with lower miles) being advertised for sale on the same website. This was the same place who sold me the car 2.5 years before, so they knew it was a good car (I hope).

I got round to selling privately in December, 6 weeks after speaking to them and the worst time to sell, for £2.5k more than they offered! I can't believe one would ever get more from a dealer than privately, however it would definately be alot less hassle.

I sooooo miss that car [&o], the steering feel is the thing that I still can't get over how good it is relative to any other "ordinary" car.

still following the forum, keeping "current", for when I return to Porsche ownership.........
