Semi-permanent body sealers

Hi - I recently read an article regarding semi-permanent body sealers. See http://www.clean-image.co.uk/paintsealant/index.htm
Has anyone used these products? And do they really save on polishing for a few years? The reason I ask is that my 1990 C2 (guards red) is starting to oxidise a little, so I wondered if a professional 'buff' and seal would put off the repaint for a few more years, as its not bad enough to consider just yet?

Yes, I did some research on these including Clean Image who use a product called DiamondBrite. In the end, I felt that the best product was Permagard. Here's my write-up:
