Did a sprint race on the Nordschliefe in a Clio in support of the 24 hours in 2005 (yup 5 laps flat out with 24 other clios in the pouring rain, but that's another story), and our test session on the Friday night was a free-for-all... coming along the big straight on MY FIRST EVER LAP, with the Clio on the rev limiter in 6th, (about 135mph) when Alzen goes past in the "Alien" somewhere the other side of 200mph and trys to blow us off the circuit!
An impressive sight, but not sure I appreciated it at the time... somewhat stressed... ;-)
