hey guys, whats your opinions on the service history for the turbo s? should I go for OPC history or is it quite acceptable to give it to known specialists?

second quick question: easiest way to remove the coolant filler cap? I've nearly torn my hands to shreds trying to get this thing off! fluids below the minimum line so wanted to top it up a little - coolant light remains off though. Tried rubber gloves, cloths etc... and yea i'm turning it the right way as per the manual picture! [:D]

Servicing. I would say that it depends on how long you are going to keep the car. If you are only going to keep it for, say, a year, then I would go with the OPC, as it will look nicer in the service book. On the other hand, if you plan on keeping it for 3-4 years, I would go with a good, established, indy. The car is 6yo now, and by then will be 9-10. Although the S is a bit special, I think that the buyers of 8-10yo Porsches will realise that a good indy will do just as good a job as an OPC. Just my 2p's worth. Coolant Tank Cap. Sounds like it hasn't been removed for a while, or some animal has done it up too tight. If it was me, I would wrap a cloth round the cap, and use water pump pliers (adjustable grips) to carefully grip and turn it.

Hmmmm This cap doesn't half stick on tight. I wear rubberised work gloves to undo mine. It takes all the pain out of the procedure. Mike
