Service In Essex

New member
I'm off for a month and am lending my car to my very, very lucky brother in law. (He's a nice guy)
I'd rather see it used than sitting around getting stale. The service is due in August so it might as well be done while I'm away.
Can anyone recommend a good independent near Colchester?

I'm always reluctant to recommend anyone that I have not actually used myself. However, I used to live in Braintree and I have heard nothing but good reports on Strasse in Coggeshall.

Perhaps, somebody that has used them could chime in?

I think you will find that is "Autostrasse".

While I can't comment on their work with new cars they have provided me with exceptional service on my two 944's.

Their rates are almost stupidly cheap and execution of work is as fast as I have seen anywhere.

They are very popular and you need to book in 6 weeks in advance.

Further tick for Autostrasse. Alan and Ken have looked after me for five years without any drop in quality. In fact the OPC send all their "difficult" cars to them for sorting - which also means they get very busy.

I have also been taking my 993 to Autostrasse for about 5 years. The work that they have done has been great and their advice and recommendations are an added bonus.

Ian.
