Service life of clutch

I appreciate that there is no real answer and it depends upon so many factors but please can I have your experiences of the service life of a cluch in a 996TT.

Mine has done 35k and with a recent boost upgrade I can slip the clutch under very hard acceleration. Just wondered whether the clutch was on its' way out and should be replaced as 35k if around the service life and if the slippage would be stopped with a new clutch or it would still slip? Dont want to spend to have it repalced only for find no improvement. Also any comments on the flywheel life?

Thanks

It's only going to get worse, you may as well get it booked in. Every time you put your foot down you'll be worrying about it. Does not matter how much power you have the clutch should lock up fully.

According to my indie, clutches seem to have a very short life if the car has a significant period of under-use in it's life (which mine did). (Not sure if same is true for 996 or TT).

Had to change mine at 30K. Flywheels on 993/6 are completely different so can't comment (but mine had no wear when inspected so was not changed)
