Note see last post date now 11May 2013

Hi Everyone - Please note new day not as published in Current PP as 13 April 13

This new idea we have created with the help of Gary Sorrell at Porsche Centre Cambridge "" we plan to put several of the older, out of warranty cars that are bringing new members into the club (eg 944, 986 Boxster, 993, 996, 968, Cayenne, etc) onto the ramps in front of theatre-style seating. Gary and his technician team take us through the design and layout of the cars, things they look for in the workshop that might go wrong, any outstanding Porsche service campaigns that could replace troublesome parts for free, and typical things that owners can do to keep trouble at bay. We all learn a bit more about the Porsche range, including some models that we probably don't know well. We need at least 50 members to make this happen, so it will be joint with R12 Norfolk and Suffolk. Please contact us now (jdpef356@hotmail.co.uk) to express an interest and volunteer your car "" hopefully we will get a good range of vehicles to discuss. Timing to be finalised but plan on starting mid-morning further details in PP and at Club night.

John, Well done to get this event re-organised & a post up on forum in such a short space of time[:)] Email sent to confirm my interest in attending with possibly a +1 if numbers need to be made up!! Paul

John I am in if you let an R4 attend - also volunteer my 90 944 turbo or 1996 993 if you need it cheers Elliot

Elliott Noted you interest in attending - I have yet to have a meeting with the PC Cambridge to get final numbers - priority will be given to R12 and R24 members. However, you are first in lne if we don't fill up our allocation.

John, Although my 987 Cayman doesn't really qualify, from a technical standpoint I'd be interested in attending if there's space. Jeff
